Final Fantasy VII Remake Theme Song Trailer Released I Watch It Now! Posted: 04 Feb 2020 01:00 AM PST Final Fantasy 7 Remake PlayStation 4 – US, EU, AU & JAPAN One of the most anticipated games from Square Enix, Final Fantasy VII Remake released its theme song trailer. The video features the song titled “Hollow” and some scenes of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Barret’s adventures in the city of Midgar. Watch it below! The video above is the English version of the Theme Song Trailer, you may also check the Japanese version here. The trailer showcased the theme song “Hollow” composed by Nobuo Uematsu, sung by Yosh (Survive Said the Prophet) and written by Kazushige Nojima. Also, the less than 4-minute video above blessed us with scenes that goes in-depth with the adventures of Cloud, Tifa, Aerith, and Barret in the city of Midgar. This also marks the first official appearances of Red XIII, cross-dressing Cloud, Wall Market in the Midgar Slums, and more. In addition, the song’s composer shared some comments and reminiscing while working on the song. Nubuo Uematsu Whichever game you pick from the FINAL FANTASY series, they all have many powerful memories for me. However, if you limit things to just the music, then you could say that VII left the biggest impression on me in the sense that it represents the point at which I was able to start challenging the boundaries and being more experimental. Nobody could have possibly known what the right answers were back then. I just sat alone in my room each day and wordlessly took on musical challenge after new musical challenge, setting no final goal for the finished game, and without even listening to the opinions of others. And the result of that was the soundtrack to FINAL FANTASY VII. This time round I was given the honour of writing "Hollow" that plays during the game, and this track is also in a style that has never been seen in FINAL FANTASY before. To me, it is very much a continuation of my experimental challenges in the field of music. Masashi Hamauzu The first FINAL FANTASY game that I worked on at Square Enix was FINAL FANTASY VII. I sorted out the chorus and actually sung in it myself, as well as putting in the short extracts from Haydn ‘s “the Creation” that play during the story and directing the singing on them. When Mr. Kitase and Mr. Toriyama contacted me about FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, and with Mr. Uematsu even recommending me for the job, there was no way I could turn it down! It is the same every time, but I feel that I have managed to somehow write music that very much has the “Final” ethos of FINAL FANTASY behind it. Mitsuto Suzuki "Would you like to create this scene from the music up?" This very happy question was how I was asked to join the Final Fantasy VII Remake development team. Time has passed since then and it is now 10 years since I became involved in games. Working on the FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE feels very strange, but at the same time it also brings back vivid memories of the sounds, surprises and emotions I experienced at the time. Working on places like Wall Market, the Honeybee Inn and Midgar Highway was one thrill after another! I brought back the surprise and enjoyment that I felt as a consumer of the original game, but the biggest change this time round is that I am now on the side providing those experiences. During E3 2019, Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase took the stage and discussed tidbits of information about the game. According to the producer, the massive content of the game, which is the first part, will be released on the official launch date, which will require two Blu-ray discs. However, the initial release of the game will still not cover the full Final Fantasy VII story. Game Overview For a brief overview, the upcoming game is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation title, Final Fantasy VII. The game follows the role of the mercenary Cloud Strife as he and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE battle against the wicked Shinra megacorporation and the rogue former Shinra soldier Sephiroth. The gameplay is planned to combine real-time action and turn-based elements just like with Dissidia Final Fantasy. The remake will only include the part of the story in Midgar, but according to Kitase, it will be a "fully standalone gaming experience." The producer added, "At that point, we decided we're going to focus this game on Midgar and what happened in Midgar," Kitase said. "And unfortunately, we can't say anything more about future games after that, because we don't know ourselves, really." More so, Kitase said that he and his team in Square Enix are still "fleshing out" what will be covered in the game’s next chapter. Tales Of The Tiny Planet Europe Version Physical Edition I Now Available For Pre-order! A thousand years ago, this land was green and good, until the Crystal cracked. For a single piece was lost; a shard of the Crystal. Then strife began, and two new races appeared: the cruel Skeksis… the gentle Mystics. This is the intro of one of the most beautiful movies of the 80s: Dark Crystal! Directed by Jim Henson and Frank Oz; this is the first full-length movie without real people on screen ever released. Set on the distant planet Thra; a big celestial body illuminated by three suns and famous to be also the original home planet of two populations, the Podlings & the Gelflings. To prevent the destruction of Thra; Jen and Kira, two brave Gelflings traveled far and wide across the lands to restore the ancient power of the Crystal, and eventually oust the  Skeksis from their throne. Nintendo Limits Animal Crossing: New Horizons to One Island Per Console Posted: 03 Feb 2020 06:57 PM PST Animal Crossing: New Horizons Nintendo Switch – US, EU, AU & JAPAN If you are planning to create multiple islands on Animal Crossing: New Horizons once it debuted on Nintendo Switch in March, Nintendo actually released some finer details about the game specifically its user limits. According to Nintendo of Australia’s official web page, only one island can exist per console regardless of the number of users registered and the copies of the game played in the console.  You can check out the publisher’s exact words below with a special note highlighting the user limits:  *Up to 8 players registered as users on a Nintendo Switch console can live on one shared island, and up to four residents of one island can play simultaneously on one console. Please note: only one island can exist per Nintendo Switch console, irrespective of the number of users registered to or copies of the game used on one console. One Nintendo Switch and one copy of the game is required for each unique island. Alternatively, up to eight people can play together on one island via local wireless or online play. Internet connection required during online play. To use online services, you must create a Nintendo Account and accept the related agreement. The Nintendo Account Privacy Policy applies. Some online services may not be available in all countries. Online play requires paid online membership. As disappointing it may sound, this isn’t the first time that had happened to the series.
