Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story
PS4
& Switch– Japan
The Acquire-developed action RPG, Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story will finally land on PS4 and Nintendo Switch tomorrow in Japan. And to keep the hype train going for this upcoming game, publisher Spike Chunsoft and developer Acquire shared a new update featuring its gameplay. So, if you want to master this game, you might want to continue to check out the new trailer below to grasp some interesting techniques.

In the video, we can see that the father and daughter duo Gunji Dojima and Nanami Dojima introduce the players to the different features in the game such as swordplay action, prostration, multiplayer, and more. In addition, the duo showed that players can have the ability to change their fighting styles. However, this one has a catch. Players can jump into a new fighting style depending on their equipped katana and accessories.
Also, a nice look at the hack-and-slash combat of the game was seen in the trailer along with the Katana Time and Kiwami counters. To add up, you can also see how you can use the Dogeza pose in your playstyle to avoid attacks on your head.
Thanks, Siliconera!

Persona 5 Scramble for PS4 & NS – Carry on a social reform!
Posted: 18 Feb 2020 09:14 PM PST

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers
PlayStation®4, Nintendo Switch Ι Genre: Musou Thieves of Hearts
A kind of mask, designed on the one hand to make a definite impression upon others, and on the other to conceal the true nature of the individual.
The statement above has been coined by the Swiss psychiatrist Carl Jung to define the concept of Persona; together with three other major archetypes (Shadow, Anima, and Self), the Persona reveals the true nature of people preparing them to enter into the adulthood and to challenge the external world. From a pop point of view, these ideas have been rarely exploited, but 24 years ago a Japanese company called Atlus exploited all of them in an unconventionally dark series of JRPGs; obviously, its name was Persona!
Born as a spin-off of Shin Megami Tensei; the first chapter entitled Megami Ibunroku Persona has been released on September 20, 1996, exclusively for PlayStation. Set in the St. Hermelin High School; the story involves the protagonist (a.k.a. the pierced boy), and his classmates in a perfectly mixed horror/sci-fi adventure in which they must unleash their inner Personas to save the hometown from the demons who threating it.
Despite the mature plot in which conscious, and unconscious aspects of everyone’s personalities are revealed and complex gameplay mechanics; Megami Ibunroku Persona got an unexpected success selling several thousand copies very quickly, and due to its popularity three months later appeared on the US stores' shelves as Revelations: Persona. No one could imagine that a brand new kind of JRPG sub-genre born and that it is still healthy even nowadays.
Through the decades Persona titles have explored several different sub-genres including fighting games, dungeon crawlers, music games, and so on; also it transcended the game industry becoming an actual multimedia project with dozens of anime, manga, stage plays, novels, concerts, and magazines who revealed everything, literally everything about the characters of the series.
But tomorrow something wonderful will occur; for the very first time, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts from Persona 5 will engage in something never experienced before. That's right… Joker, Morgana, Panther, Skull, Fox, Queen, Noir, and Oracle will bring emancipation in a very musochaotic with Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers for PS4 & NS!
Taking place some months after Persona 5; a new menace for the souls and hearts of millions of Tokyo inhabitants came forward, her name is Alice Hiiragi. She's an extremely popular idol who despite her innocent aspect hides a wicked mind; like a contemporary Alice Liddell, she can travel among this and the other dimension known as Jail, a sort of parallel Metaverse in which influential people can get even more public consensus exploiting common people wishes and dreams.
To prevent the whole destruction of democracy and free thought, the Phantom Thieves of Hearts return in the urban battlefield helped by new allies, new Personas, and new fighting techniques;, for the first time, a Persona game abandons the traditional turn-battle systems to inaugurate its entry in the musou games.
Developing a truly wonderful crossover, Omega Force cooperated with Atlus to take respect to the source material even further; in fact, the sheer number of foes on-screen is more impressive than ever, get ready to slash all of them summoning insanely powerful Personas or performing punishing combo attacks, all in stunning anime-style graphics.
Put your skills to test in a very 1000% extreme burning action; Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers for PS4 & NS brings to all of us all the hack and slash action we’ve grown to love, along with one of the most iconic cast in game's wonderland.
Use your fighting skills to carry on a real social reform digitally or physically; Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers will take our hearts away. We're ready to step into the Metaverse, you’re into that too?
