Posted: 09 Jan 2020 02:00 AM PST Yakuza: Like a Dragon PlayStation 4 – US, EU, JAPAN & ASIA Sega continues to tease and spoil us with new screenshots and pieces of information for Yakuza: Like a Dragon. And today we will talk about the game’s Sotenbori Battle Arena and dungeons. Sotenbori Battle Arena The Sotenbori Battle Arena is an underground battle event at the under-construction building in Sotenbori, Osaka. In Sotenbori Battle Arena, you need to go against the strong enemies arranged by the event’s administrator. You have to start on the very first floor and aim at the 30th floor, which is the topmost floor. In order to proceed on the next floor, you have to defeat enemies present on the current floor. Also, during the battles in Sotenbori Battle Arena, you will meet Yappi-Kun (it seems like a robot installed for customer service) the receptionist of the arena. On the battle screen, you can check the battle’s special rules, enemy strength, and rewards. There are different enemies and rules on each floor. Dungeons As the story progresses, Kasuga and company will need to enter underground passages to move to the headquarters of the enemy organizations. These underground passages are dangerous “dungeons” which are all extremely lacking in security and a vast place for strong enemies. Traits of Enemies in the Dungeon Once you got involved in an enemy organization, enemies associated with that organization will appear in the dungeon. Many of them are rare and unique strong enemies that you don’t encounter in the city. Some of them are masked men, hospital patients and more. Items Obtainable in Dungeons In the dungeons, you can find “safes” and “attache cases” that contain various items and equipment. Attache cases have one item and its different every time while safes need a key to open with better and rarer items inside. Safes With Traps Some safes in the dungeons don’t contain an item instead there enemies hiding inside and might attack you anytime. Be careful about opening safes. Dungeon Bosses As you progress more, you will meet strong bosses. The numbers and sizes of bosses are all different there are some from a squad of human enemies up to an excavator.
