Katana Kami: A Way of the Samurai Story is a spin-off of the Way of the Samurai series. The game is developed by Acquire and published by Spike Chunsoft for PC, Playstation 4 and Nintendo Switch consoles. The game takes players to an alternative version of feudal Japan. The story follows a blacksmith who lives near a pine tree, which is an entry to another world. And one day, a man’s daughter was kidnapped due to his unpaid debts and a strange but kind samurai proposed to help save his daughter. The game’s Asia version has multi-language options that support English, Japanese and Traditional Chinese. Also, the game’s Japan version is bound to release on February 20, 2020, and that’s next month. Stay tuned for the release date updates on other regions! Gameplay Players will take the role of the mysterious warrior who was tasked to raise money to buy the girl. Which requires hard work in the workshop and going through dangerous journeys to the underworld. The game features a daily cycle that directly affects the gameplay. - There is a total of nine stances depend on what weapon you have equipped. And each stance has special effects. For example, the “middle guard stance” decreases damage taken from the enemy, while the “side stance” increases your critical chances
- Katana Time – By collecting “orbs” from the enemies inside the dungeon will charge your “Orb Gauge” allowing you to activate “Katana Time”. When Katana Time is activated your health bar won’t damage, weapon durability, increased movement speed, and no knock-back from the enemy
- Kiwami – By evading or blocking the enemy’s attack to create an opening and then attack, you can unleash a powerful attack called “Kiwami”. If there are still enemy nearby you can perform “Consecutive Kiwami” attack at the right timing

Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers PS4 & SW – JAPAN True to its promise, Atlus released another detail for Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers. Last Friday, January 10, the game’s website was updated with Morgana’s Travel Report #4 that showcased Okinawa, cooking, and requests. Check out the full video and details below! The video above introduces us to the beautiful island of Okinawa, details about the Phantom Move, cooking and requests. Check out the more vast details below. An Introduction to Okinawa: A White Sandy Beach and Blue Sea The Phantom Thieves visited the Kuukojima, a resort island just off the mainland of Okinawa as they pursue a mysterious case. Okinawa is a lively island with beautiful beaches and waters together with tourist shops around the harbor. While looking at the case, the Phantom Thieves took a brief vacation to the island. But something is odd about the island’s inhabitants. While exploring the island’s secrets, you will wander into the Okinawa Jail, a research laboratory turned into an abandoned castle. The jail has this strange atmosphere like a horror movie. There are voice recorders in various areas, it is a major clue to what is happening on the island. Players can use the “Phantom Move” ability, which makes you move quickly to high altitudes and undercover. Phantom Move can also break through cracked areas including a glass that blocks your way. While exploring the jails, you may encounter locked doors. “Hacking Battles” will occur to unlock the door through the navigator’s hacking abilities. Cooking and Requests In the game players can “Cook” using the ingredients they obtained. The food you will make will be use as items that offers various effects like HP and SP recovery, strengthening party and more. Also, “Recipes” can be obtained from the game’s various shops and events. As the story progresses, people may ask for ” Requests”. And, after the reveal of Knickknack Shack gameplay, a new video has been dropped! The official Twitter of Granblue Fantasy Versus has revealed the short gameplay. In the video, it mainly highlights the Amalthea stage. According to Gematsu, the Amalthea stage is set between the Crew of Enforcers and the Erste Empire fleet.
