The Idolmaster series has been running in the video gaming industry for over 14 years now. And up until now, many of the series’ enthusiasts are still interested to play the game. So, if you’re one of the many fans of the franchise, Bandai Namco has some good news in the table. The publisher held a live stream last January 20 to drop some important news to The Idolmaster series lovers. During the live stream, it has been confirmed that the previously teased console game in The Idolmaster series is, The Idolmaster: Starlit Season. You can find the teaser trailer below. 【TEASER TRAILER】Game OverviewStarlit Season is the newest entry in The Idolmaster series. As of the time of writing, no definite release date for the game has been announced. But, it is scheduled to release sometime in 2020 for both PS4 via the PSN Store and PC via Steam in Japan. GameplayGameplay-wise, just like any other Idolmaster game in the franchise, The Idolmaster: Starlit Season will put you in the shoes of an eager producer of the 765 Production talent agency to “assemble a brand-new, special idol unit of members comprising from different agencies.” So basically, you as a producer must handle, manage, and market aspiring J-pop idols. Your goal is for your Special Unit to be the winner of the “Starlit Season” idol competition to acquire the grand prize of performing in front of thousands of fans in the newly opened Starlit Dome. Hone your talent’s abilities through training and merchandising. Produce entertaining music and dance routines, and seek guidance from your budding assistants. You have 10 months to sharpen your talents abilities to the best that they can become before getting into the final stage of the competition. Little Town Hero Japanese Physical Release Coming in April for PS4 & Switch | Pre-order Now!

- The Japanese game company Rainy Frog will release the physical release of Little Town Hero for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch.
- It’s coming on April 23 in Japan. As of now, the Western release is still unknown but NIS America will be responsible for the Western release.

PRE-ORDER NOWFinally, a physical release! The Japanese game publisher Rainy Frog will bring the physical version of the RPG, Little Town Hero (リトルタウンヒーロー), to the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It’s coming on April 23 in Japan. So, get prepared, folks, especially those who love to collect those game boxes for their shelves. (As of now, there’s no English language support for this.)
If you are wondering for the Western release, NIS America has the plans to release the Nintendo Switch version of Little Town Hero this spring. However, no news for the PlayStation 4. So, let’s wait for now. (Thanks, Gematsu!)
For a brief background, Little Town Hero is a role-playing video game developed by Game Freak. It was first released in the digital version for the Nintendo Switch in October 2019. If you are going to grab the digital version of this game for the PS4, it’s also coming on the same day along with the physical retail version.
The game sets in an isolated village nearby to the edge of the world, however, the only gate pass to this village is guarded by a castle and the citizens unable to leave. So, the citizens are on the usual daily routine of their lives. However, a certain individual thinks differently from the rest as he wants to see what’s the world outside of this village. Suddenly, a monster appears in the village and the safety of the villagers is on the verge. With this, the main protagonist must fight this using the Red stone that came from the coalmines. However, while protecting the village, he discovers the secrets of the stones and monsters.

With the constant increase of the world's population, our planet is facing even more environmental challenges such as global warming, extreme natural events, mass extinction, and so on. Since the second half of the 18th century, with the advent of the Industrial Revolution, the quality of the air in all the major cities in Europe and the USA getting worse, and worse due to the emerge of huge factories that used coal extensively. This led to heavy smoke pollution, and only in 1863, thanks to the people pressure the British government introduced the first environmental law called Alkali Act; in which all the factories must commit to reducing the emissions muriatic acid gas in the air. Continuously improved, this law remained in force until 1990, when it has been replaced with the more modern Environmental Protection Act which is necessary to control and reduce pollution as much as possible.
Through the years, even more, artists helped to increase the environmental awareness among the people; for example in the song Mercy Mercy Me by Marvin Gaye we can find the following verse: "Oh mercy mercy me / Oh, things ain’t what they used to be no, no / Where did all the blue sky go? / Poison is the wind that blows from the north and south and east" while the Pixar's movie Wall-E portrays the story of a tiny cute robot which duty is to compact the trash on a desolated Earth which became a sort of garbage-filled wasteland caused by humans' consumerism and environmental neglect. Obviously, even game developers worked hard to include contemporary ecological issues in their titles; Bee Simulator, Jupiter & Mars or Eco are the best examples of how video games can increase environmental awareness among people.
Even Nippon Ichi Software is sensitive to this global problem, and due to this, tomorrow they will release a brand new ecological roguelike RPG: Void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium for PS4 & NS!
Set in a (not so) far future; in this title, our planet has been turned into a desert where only a strong species of toxic fungi invaded the whole Earth, but not all is lost. In fact, for unknown reasons, a young girl called Toriko could survive even if her body is completely covered by this new dominant species; even if civilization is no more, some technological devices still working, for example, the useful Care Robot.
Becoming friends and allies; this unconventional duo will start a mission that leads them to explore the ruined world in search of the truth behind the tragedy that occurred several hundred years ago.
Get ready to walk far and wide helping Toriko to prolong her life as much as possible, how? Well, the answer is the technology; in Void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium for PS4 & NS the robot can create a protective terrarium, a sort bio-sphere in which all the toxic beings are eliminated. Thanks to it, Toriko can eat, walk, and sleep without being infected by fungi.
But, sadly, there are a lot of dangers who inhabit this wasteworld, lurking in the dark mutated humans are patiently waiting for a prey… HER. So, you and the Care Robot must cooperate to keep safe this weak little girl from their attacks; joining your forces Toriko will have a better chance to survive.
Designed by Masayuki Furuya, the mind behind Yomawari, htoL#NiQ: The Firefly Diary, and The Liar Princess and the Blind Prince, Void tRrLM(); //Void Terrarium is a post-apocalyptic emotional adventure focused on the concepts of protection, survival, and environmental disasters; what is the relationship between Toriko, and the toxic fungi? Why she's survived while the rest of humanity disappeared? Don't be afraid to find the answers to these and many other unresolved questions.
Lost and alone; Toriko counts on you to continue her life, strategy, exploration, and a dose of luck are the essential ingredients to proceed in this roguelike RPG. Wander through the unknown digitally or physically, using the robotic powers to guide and protect the girl to a better existence!
