CD Projekt RED‘s Cyberpunk 2077 has been delayed to September 17 from its previously announced release on April 16, 2020. Check out CD Projekt RED’s message below or here:

We have important news regarding Cyberpunk 2077's release date we'd like to share with you today.

Cyberpunk 2077 won't make the April release window and we're moving the launch date to September 17, 2020.

We are currently at a stage where the game is complete and playable, but there's still work to be done. Night City is massive—full of stories, content, and places to visit, but due to the sheer scale and complexity of it all, we need more time to finish playtesting, fixing and polishing. We want Cyberpunk 2077 to be our crowning achievement for this generation and postponing launch will give us the precious months we need to make the game perfect.

Expect more regular updates on progress as we get closer to the new release date.

We're really looking forward to seeing you in Night City, thank you for your ongoing support!

On the message above, the developers expressed their desire to deliver not just a better game but to give their audience the best. They also share that the game is complete and playable but since Cyberpunk 2077 is not just your average RPG. It needs more fixing and polishing. And postponing the game’s release will be a significant time for them to make the game perfect.

Cyberpunk 2077‘s release date has been moved to September 17, 2020. Nevertheless, the game is still bound to release this year and pre-orders are still welcome here at Playasia.

Cyberpunk 2077 is an upcoming first-person perspective RPG developed and published by CD Projekt, the team behind The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt. The game is adapted from the 1988 tabletop game Cyberpunk 2020. The game was first announced in 2012 and the following year they released a teaser and in 2018 they confirmed the game for PS4 and XONE consoles at E3 2018.

One Piece fans, another TV commercial is released for the upcoming One Piece game from Bandai Namco, One Piece: Pirate Warriors for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Nintendo Switch. As the release date is approaching, Bandai Namco has dropped a new TV commercial to raise the excitement. So, are you feeling the adrenaline rush for this upcoming action-adventure game from Bandai Namco?

In the new TV commercial, it mainly highlights the Summit War Saga. For a brief background, the Summit War Saga also known as the Whitebeard War Saga is the sixth saga in the anime and manga in the One Piece series.

Game Overview

During Bandai Namco's "Play Anime" panel at Anime Expo 2019, Bandai Namco, Koei Tecmo, and Omega Force revealed the newest installment in the One Piece: Pirate Warriors series, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. It is an action-adventure game based on the classic Shonen Jump series, One Piece, that will be released in 2020.

The latest installment is currently in development for PC, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and Xbox One. The announcement was accompanied by a debut trailer which can be seen below.

The Pirate Warriors are back and bring with them a more explosive story, more environments and even crazier attacks in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4. Giddy up! In December 2019, Koei Tecmo announced the return of the horse racing simulation game, Winning Post in its brand new entry, Winning Post 9 2020 for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. It was announced in the Weekly Famitsu. If you are a fan of this game, it’s coming in March 2020 in Japan.

For a brief background, Winning Post is a thoroughbred horse racing simulation game developed and published by the well-known game company, Koei Tecmo. It was debuted in the 90s particularly in 1993. As of now, most of the Winning Post games are only released in Japan. (Yeah, so that means no English language support as of now.)

The latest entry to the Winning Post franchise is finally here with new features and new elements to welcome you. This horse simulation racing game will giddy up with your horses as you must strengthen the horses to defeat their rivals. Expand your connections along with the jockey, trainers, producers and more to deepening your bond between the rider and the horse to achieve the momentum to fight against your rivals.

In this game, you can save your date from Winning Post 2018 and you will receive special bonuses. If you want to hire a new secretary, no worries, folks as Koei Tecmo adds Noel Himeka as a secretary. Monster Hunter World: Iceborne 2020 Roadmap Uncovered!

Last time, we’ve learned that Capcom‘s Monster Hunter series milestone has gone all the way up to the top with a whopping 61 million overall sales as of January 15 this year. And yes, the biggest contribution of the flourishing numbers goes to the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne expansion and the base game itself, Monster Hunter World for Xbox One and PS4.

Now that the Iceborne expansion has gone to the world of PC gaming too, it wouldn’t be quite a surprise if the sales of the Monster Hunter series will continue to grow. Especially Capcom recently released Iceborne’s Roadmap of 2020 for both console and PC.

It was revealed in the roadmap that the version 13.5 will be releasing in three months from now for both consoles and PC as major content updates. According to Capcom, the new update in April will feature “New Arch-Tempered and Master Rank versions of existing monsters will be available at the same time for both PC and console players, followed by the return of a fan-favorite monster in May. More synced updates and additional monsters will be available in June and beyond, with details coming at a later date.”

While waiting for the Iceborne’s major update, players can enjoy and celebrate the game’s second anniversary through the cosmic Grand Appreciation Fest for Iceborne players, or the returning Appreciation Fest in the Astera Gathering Hub available for all players which will start on January 23 (PST) until February 13. Meanwhile, PC players can look forward to the arrival of the limited time Holiday Joy Fest in late February. It will provide an opportunity for players to get new layered armor, handler outfit, Poogie clothing and more.

Capcom today released a roadmap for upcoming free Monster Hunter World: Iceborne post-launch content updates for PlayStation 4 computer entertainment system, the Xbox One family of devices, including Xbox One X, and Steam (PC). In addition, Capcom has also confirmed that the timing for subsequent major Iceborne content updates on PC and console will sync starting in April 2020. In the meantime, both console and PC hunters will be able to celebrate the second anniversary of Monster Hunter: World with in-game events for players across World and Iceborne.

Following the recent PC release of the acclaimed Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, title updates for PC will begin in February. The free content will include challenging monsters for players to conquer, expanded gameplay features, limited time events and more. The centerpiece of the first PC title update on February 6 is the fearsome Rajang, the ruthless fan-favorite monster that offers a challenge for even the most seasoned hunters. A new Volcanic Region will be added to the end-game Guiding Lands, and becomes accessible once players have started the special assignment quest to battle Rajang. Popular survival horror icons Leon, Claire and Tyrant also pay a visit to Iceborne for the limited time Raccoon City collaboration, where hunters can acquire materials to craft Leon α+ and Claire α+ full armor sets plus three Raccoon City themed pendants to spruce up their favorite weapons. The first title update also brings the ability to visit other players' rooms, and limited time quests that provide materials to forge the Hunter Weapon and Palico armor + weapon from the Iceborne Design Contest winners. Paid DLC options for room décor have also been added for those that wish to spruce up their place even more for guests.

On March 12, the second PC title update will star Stygian Zinogre, a more vicious subspecies of the electrifying fan-favorite Zinogre, that harnesses dragon elemental damage instead of lightning this time around. A new Tundra Region will expand the Guiding Lands further with a snowy landscape that's home to bone-chilling monsters such as Barioth and Viper Tobi-Kadachi. As an added incentive, special materials exclusive to the Tundra Region can be used to further customize and upgrade weapons. Hardened PC hunters will also be able to attempt the challenging Safi'jiiva Siege to earn an arsenal of new Awakened weapons and craft powerful armor sets.
