Grid is the tenth installment in the TOCA racing video game series and the fourth in the Grid sub-series.
This upcoming racing video game offers new massive features you’ve never experienced on the previous Grid games before.
The game is bound to release next month, October 11 and now available for pre-order here at Playasia.

Grid is the 10th installment in the TOCA series (a video game series that focuses on touring car racing and motorsport) and the 4th one of the Grid sub-series. It was originally announced to release on September 13 but later move to October 11 to build up more exposure for the game.

The publishers and developers behind Grid and the rest of the games in TOCA series are no other than Codemasters, the geniuses behind the successful DiRT and F1 series. One of the game’s key mechanics is the Nemesis System where AI drivers will become aggressive towards the player if they hit them too hard or too often, as part of this there are 400 unique AI drivers, each with their own racing style. Also, Fernando Alonso, a Spanish racing driver, and a former F1 racing driver will be acting as a “Racing consultant” on Grid and he would be featured in the game with the player facing them in the single-player campaign’s final event.

Game Overview

Capturing intense moment-to-moment racing action, GRID returns with an all-new experience where every race is the chance to choose your own path, create your own story and define your legacy in the motorsport world.

From the creators of the hugely successful DiRT and F1 series, Codemasters invites you to take your place in the GRID World Series and compete in intense wheel-to-wheel racing with the most iconic and desirable race cars – current and classic, from GT through Touring and Muscle to Stock and Super Modifieds – and in some of the world’s most iconic locations.

GRID captures every moment of the race, from the adrenaline rush of lights-out to the elation at the chequered flag – and in-between, it’s all action too. Incidents come one right after the other – tight overtakes, bumper-to-bumper scrapes and competitive collisions – all heightened by rivalries, team-mates and a nemesis driver who will all either try to help or hinder your progress as you achieve your goal of becoming the GRID World Series champion.

The year 2020 is still months away but that won’t stop game publisher Paradox Interactive in feeding us with teasers for its upcoming action RPG Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2, and through the game’s official website they introduced the 3rd faction we should look forward to. OFF THE GRID

It's hard to know just how many vampires swear allegiance to The Baron of Aurora. In parts, that's because very few of Seattle's Kindred have actually met him. Acting through his lieutenants, he has taken in the city's destitute, defiant and desperate, turning them into a ruthlessly disciplined force with hands in every shady deal.

Where a less prudent man might turn such capital into a bid for Princedom, he has so far been content to stay in the back-alleys of his turf, hoard favors, and brutally defend his business interests.

KINGPIN

The Baron has no illusions about his own security: While seemingly unassailable now, his strength will remain only as long as he stays ahead of all competitors. If he ever shows weakness or becomes unreliable, his whole operation is going to fall, beginning with him.

NECESSARY EVIL

Nobody likes the Baron and his people – until they need something done or procured quietly and quickly. Someone will play this part, in any city. Many of Seattle's powerful tell themselves that it's just as well to further indebt yourself to the Devil you know.

No matter who you are, no matter what you did, no matter who you're running from; the Baron has a job for you. Promotion and power come quickly in his organization – if you can stomach the work.

The Camarilla

POWER PLAYERS

Seattle has become one of the most lucrative tech- and business cities in the world. In the shadows of that boom, a new kind of Kindred has emerged in the city: Sleek, business-minded; ready to influence the city from the top-floor board rooms.

Led by Prince Cross and ingrained in the corporate landscape of Seattle, the Camarilla has managed to turn its connections to tech billionaires and investment bankers into dominion over the Emerald City.

THE IVORY TOWER

Very few cities boast a vampire elite as wealthy as Seattle. In these refined circles, your true worth shows in how much control your money has bought you. Here at the top, a comfortable existence – not having to worry about access to blood and having to hunt – is all but guaranteed.

Amongst the Camarilla kindred loyal to Cross you'll find CEOs, software moguls, bankers, venture capitalists, politicians and other members of the business elite.

THE LONG GAME

After 20 years at the top, every member of Cross' faction is still very aware of being the city's biggest target. While Cross knows that not every vampire in the city accepts the Camarilla, he has given them just enough power to not having to worry about them organizing and moving against him. Stability, prosperity, and the Masquerade have been the key components of his policy.

The Pioneers

OLD MONEY

There's a lot of wealth in ruling a city for more than a century. The money of the Pioneers would earn a lot of influence almost anywhere in the world. In the modern boomtown of Seattle, though, all it seems to afford is a more comfortable slide into irrelevance.

While they have dreams of once more ruling the city, they have since been forced to accept the rules of another. In exchange, they have been allowed to “save face” by keeping control over some minor parts of the city.

PAST GLORIES

While Seattle is a young city, the vampires of The Pioneers were among the first to settle here and rule. Led by Lou Grand, the longest-reigning Prince of the area, they have seen control slip away over the years and are increasingly unhappy with the amount of outsiders that have come in and carved out territory.

THE INSIDER'S CLUB

A collection of individuals from different clans, unified by their idealistic and romantic notion of Seattle as the last frontier – The Pioneers held Seattle for the biggest part of the city's existence. Having lost so much in the last twenty years, they have become quite skeptical of the changing world, including any fledgling looking to join.

The vampires in Lou's group include loggers, fishermen, bootleggers, old-money families, musicians and artists, and many other long-time Puget Sound inhabitants – and they fight tooth and nail to preserve whatever remains of their old world – and of one another.

Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2 has 5 Factions– groups of vampires who have united under a single banner – are all vying for control. Each with their own history, characteristics, and motivations. It will be up to you to decide who to join, cross, or pit against each other – but know that your choices will carry consequences.

Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2 is the successor of the iconic vampire RPG Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines released for PC in 2004. The game is still based on the tabletop role-playing game Vampire: The Masquerade published by White Wolf Publishing, the same as its predecessor.

This upcoming action role-playing game is developed by Hardsuit Labs and published by Paradox Interactive. The game is mainly played in a first person-perspective and alternates to third-person for contextual activities like specific attacks.

Vampire: The Masquerade- Bloodlines 2 is set in the 21st- century Seattle during the Christmas Season. Players can customize their vampire character and their character background as a human that comes with interaction options and dialogs in the game world. The player is one of the humans turned into vampires during a Mass embrace, an incident in which rogue vampires publicly attacked humans, breaking the Masquerade and causing discord between the city’s vampire groups.

Game Overview

Set in a Seattle faithfully reimagined in the World of Darkness, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 features reactive storytelling, fast-paced melee combat, and intriguing characters with their own hidden motives. Created in an act of vampire insurrection, your existence ignites a bloody war among the vampire factions who run Seattle. To survive, you'll choose a clan and enter into uneasy alliances with competing factions in a world that will react to every choice you make.
