Japan Game Awards 2020 Grand Award Goes to ACNH – See Full List of Winners Here Posted: 28 Sep 2020 01:30 AM PDT Japan Game Awards 2020 Japan Game Awards is one of the most popular stage events in the annual Tokyo Game Show. And as we all know, for this year’s show, it was decided to be conducted online due to the pandemic.  So, if you missed it, Japan’s Computer Entertainment Supplier’s Association held the annual Japan Game Awards digitally over the weekend. All titles released from April 2019 until the end of March 2020 in Japan are qualified candidates for the JGA2020.  And villagers, it is no doubt that Nintendo’s Animal Crossing: New Horizons got the most prominent Grand Award as the best game. Aside from that, ACNH was also one of the ten Japanese games that received an Award for Excellence. But, that’s not all! The game also got the Minister of Economy title and got the Trade and Industry Award.  For those who may not know, the Trade and Industry Award is given to those who made a great impact and contribution to the growth of the Japanese games industry. New Horizons is not your ordinary game. It is a game that challenges your creativity, your strategy on how to build up your life, and how to live a fun and peaceful life with everybody. It is indeed a game for all ages.  In fact, CESA said that New Horizons "showed the power of entertainment from Japan, acquiring overwhelming support from many users of all ages, from children to senior citizens." Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy Adds PS5 Version + New Trailer Released | TGS 2020 Posted: 28 Sep 2020 01:00 AM PDT Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy PS4 & SW – US, JP & ASIA  Koei Tecmo has confirmed that Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy is coming to PlayStation 5 as well, joining previously announced PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch and PC consoles. In addition, according to Gematsu, the release date for PS5 will be the  same with the PS4 and Switch versions in Japan which is on December 3rd. Scarlet Nexus Reveals 2nd Protagonist And Story Trailer | TGS 2020 Posted: 27 Sep 2020 11:00 PM PDT Scarlet Nexus PS4, XONE & PS5 – US TGS 2020 wrapped up last night with big and new announcements from your favorite developers and publishers. One to mention is Bandai Namco’s upcoming action/ adventure game Scarlet Nexus. During the first night of TGS, the game’s official theme song was revealed, and on it’s last day the publisher presents the game’s second protagonist and she’s Kasane Randall. Yes, you read it right! The game is has two protagonists. Kasane Randall Superpower: Psychokinesis Service Record Status: New Recruit She is cool, rational, and indifferent to others. An elite with an exceptional combat sense and superpower. Also, she was scouted by the OSF and graduated from training school at the top of her class. In addition, according to IGN’s blog, players may choose between Sumeragi and Randall to experience the same story from different viewpoints. Aside from this, three new characters who are also part of the OSF were introduced as well. Tsugumi Nazar Superpower: Clairvoyance Service Record Status: 12 Years A shy girl who is bashful in front of strangers. She easily gets nervous and tenses up when having a conversation with someone, and gets upset about it later. Besides, she is unexpectedly competitive and does not lose composure during battle, so she has high capability as a soldier. Gemma Garrison Superpower: Hardening Service Record Status: 38 Years A calm and composed OSF soldier. Since superpowers become weaker as the brain ages, the OSF is taking measures to suppress physical growth. But Gemma has gradually started aging and appears somewhat older than the other soldiers. Luka Travers Superpower: Teleportation Service Record Status: 22 Years While he may appear to be a gentle little boy who can be mistaken for a little girl, he is actually a brilliant OSF soldier who can analyze any situation and come to a decision.
