With the thought that it’s just somebody’s trick, Shido along with his friends opened the box. Apparently, opening it will bring huge trouble for everyone. Game Overview This is the third installment to the franchise. It was first released for the PlayStation 2 in 2003 in Japan then followed by the director’s cut in 2004. The localization was released in 2004 and 2005 respectively. This game follows a high school student in modern-day Tokyo. However, he goes into a world called Conception. It's been 17 years since the original release of Shin Megami Tensei III, known in the U.S. as Shin Megami Tensei: Nocturne.
