Indie World Showcase 8.18.2020 Recap Posted: 20 Aug 2020 12:00 AM PDT Indie World Showcase 8.18.20 Nintendo Switch A recap to Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase presentation last August 18. This presentation consists of previously and newly announced games for Switch. Check out the titles coming to Nintendo Switch with new trailer and short developer commentaries. Nintendo’s Indie World Showcase features upcoming titles that are about to hit the Switch port very soon. Yes, you read it right we are getting new games any time soon! The presentation consists of new game announcements, as well as brand new information and clips on previously introduced games from past showcases. And without further ado, let’s start checking the games mentioned in the Indie World Showcase one by one: Hades A dungeon roguelike crawler Hades from Supergiant Games is inspired by Greek mythology.  Defy the god of the dead as you hack and slash out of the Underworld of Greek myth in this rogue-like dungeon crawler from the creators of Bastion and Transistor, coming this autumn to Nintendo Switch. Hypnospace Outlaw A portal back to the early days of the internet. In addition, the game will launch this August 27.  Hypnospace Outlaw is a ’90s internet simulator in which you scour Hypnospace’s wide variety of weird and wonderful websites to hunt down wrongdoers, while also keeping an eye on your inbox, avoiding viruses and adware, and downloading a plethora of apps that may or may not be useful. Spirifarer From developer Thunder Lotus, befriend passengers and explore the imaginative world of this cozy management game. Spiritfarer® is a cozy management game about dying. You play Stella, ferry master to the deceased, a Spiritfarer. Build a boat to explore the world, then befriend and care for spirits before finally releasing them into the afterlife. Farm, mine, fish, harvest, cook, and craft your way across mystical seas. Garden Story Garden Story features a community that cultivates friendship and grows together, coming this 2021 on Switch. Unify a broken community as the newly-appointed Guardian of The Grove. Traverse a vibrant island to combat invasive Rot, inspire its inhabitants, and rebuild your home. You won’t have to do this alone: fruity friends await, ready to lend a hand! Subnautica and Subnautica: Below Zero Dive in the depth of Subnautica’s vast oceans to collect resources, craft underwater structures, and uncover the mysteries of this watery world. While its sequel, Subnautica: Below Zero is here for explorers who are seeking a frozen adventure.  Takeshi and Hiroshi Meet the young developer Takeshi, who needs to keep his younger brother, Hiroshi entertained with the latest chapter of his game. Kadokawa Games has announced the early purchase bonus DLC for Metal Max Xeno: Reborn. This DLC will be available from September 10 to October 12 in Japan. So, you better mark your calendars, folks!
