DOOM Eternal: Get A Sneak Peek of its First Upcoming Campaign DLC Posted: 11 May 2020 02:47 AM PDT DOOM Eternal PS4, XONE, SW & PC – US, EU, JAPAN & ASIA Earlier this month, id Software confirmed that they are currently working on DOOM Eternal‘s additional content. At that moment, the developer shared no further details on the upcoming DLC. And in case you missed it, this campaign DLC will be included in the “Year One Pass” which can be purchased for $29.99. Finally, publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer id Software unveiled a sneak peek of the said additional content for its first-person-shooter game. Both companies took the game’s official twitter account to share the first two screenshots of the campaign DLC. Not much has been detailed about it, but the images are looking pretty cool. It will test your skills to fast-paced firefights against an attack of demons. But of course, various changes for the game have been confirmed. This includes the new type of demons that will most likely double the number as compared to the previous game. More so, if you’re familiar with Doom, Cacodemons, Barons of Hell, Pain Elementals, Arch-Viles, Arachnotrons, Imps, and Revenants, they are making a comeback to Eternal together with the new demons in the form of reimaginings of enemies from Doom 2. Of course, there will be completely new enemies as well.  Furthermore, Eternal will bring new weapons to the game with a few old ones that will return with some subtle modifications. For example, the Plasma Rifle has now the capacity to shoot with orbs that electrify enemies. While some weapons have been lightly changed, others have been fully renewed, like the Ballista. It is a new version of the Gauss Cannon that fires explosive energy bolts. Moreover, DOOM Eternal will feature a new mode which will be called the invasion mode. In this stage, other players can run and jump into your single-player campaign as demons, basically building hunting parties to take you out. Ancestors Legacy Heads To Switch I Pre-order Now!
