Roller Champions is an upcoming sports game played from a third-person perspective.
The game was officially announced at Ubisoft’s press conference at E3 2019.

Roller Champions is an upcoming sports game by developer Ubisoft Montreal and publisher Ubisoft. The game was announced during Ubisoft’s press conference on E3 2019 last June.

It is a 3 vs. 3 competitive multiplayer game being played from a third-person perspective. Roller Champions is said to be a roller derby-inspired game with some vibe of Rocket League. It focuses on low-scoring rounds but with a heavy emphasis on skill.

Advance through the ranks as you rise from street to stadium, winning matches and gaining fans on your way to Roller Champion fame.

Game Overview

Welcome to 2029. Roller Champions arenas are built all over the world and fans rush to the stands to admire their modern-day heroes, the Roller Champions. They roll up to 100 miles an hour, dash into opponents with visceral impact, wall-skate to the sky, and dunk while thousands of fans scream their names. You are one of them. As a Roller Champion, you compete in a team of three against three. The rules are simple: take the ball, make a lap while maintaining team-possession, and score. You can go for more points by completing additional laps before attempting a goal. After each game, you gain fans, unlock sponsors, customize your character, and ultimately unlock impressive fan celebrations. Roll up to glory!

Idea Factory International, known for the visual novel genres, will release Collar x Malice for Nintendo Switch in Japan. This visual novel game is coming on March 12, 2020. According to Gematsu, a limited edition is also announced which includes newly written short stories in novel form and acrylic stand illustrated by Mai Hanamura.

For a brief background, Collar x Malice is a visual novel game developed and published by Idea Factory International. PS Vita users were the first ones who experienced this visual novel on August 18, 2016, in Japan and on July 28, 2017, in the Western regions. Switch users, it’s now the time to experience this visual novel soon!

Are you wondering about the Western release of this game? No worries, folks as Aksys Games and Idea Factory will bring this as well in the Western regions sometimes in 2020. It was announced during the Anime Expo 2019 panel. However, it’s not yet available for pre-order! We’ll update you once it’s now open for pre-orders. (Thanks, Nintendo Insider!)

The protagonist is a policewoman working in Shinjuku, a city that has become unsafe after a series of violent crimes known as the “X-Day Incidents”.

While responding to a call late one night, an unknown assailant attacked her, and when she regained consciousness she had a collar with a poison delivery mechanism, capable of being activated remotely, around her neck.

Amidst the chaos and right before the protagonist's eyes were men with suspicious backgrounds. They're all part of an organisation composed of former police officers and have taken it upon themselves to investigate the brutal cases.

Without knowing whether she should trust these men or not, she suddenly became the person who held the key to this massive case.

In order to remove the collar that places her at the edge of death and to liberate Shinjuku from the malice that binds it, she cooperates; beginning to investigate the incidents with the men.

Who holds her life in their hands?
Will Shinjuku ever return to its former glory?
