Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers

PS4™ & SW – JAPAN

Game publisher, Atlus, updated their YouTube channel as well as Persona 5 Scramble: The Phantom Strikers official website with Morgana’s Travel Report # 3. It features the city of Sapporo and the game’s Persona Growth features. Check out the full video of Morgana’s 3rd Travel Report below!

The video above introduces us to the romantic city,Sapporo, where you can feel the history. It is a city where you can enjoy various historic and beautiful buildings and hot springs.

In Chou, Sapporo, a skilled politician name Mariko Hyoudou is gathering some support from the people. She’s enthusiastic and her reputation is through the roof. But there is an unusual atmosphere about her popularity.

On the other hand, the Sapporo Jail awaits for the Phantom Thieves. It’s beautiful but also a sad world where ice filled the surface. On the dungeon of this difficult Jail, familiar personas will appear and various stage mechanics such as walls of ice and snowboarding await the player.

The other half of the video showcased the Persona Growth. This features trains and strengthens Personas.

Personas can be strengthened through battles and in the Velvet Room. You can train your Personas and face off against tough enemies!

For example, Joker who possesses the “wild” quality, can switch between several Personas in a battle. You can use this Persona change ability to battle enemies at an advantage.

Personas can be obtained by picking up “masks” dropped by enemy shadows. These will become Joker’s new Personas, make sure to take down new enemies actively.

The trailer also gave us a glimpse of the “Velvet Room.” It’s a special room located between consciousness and subconsciousness that only Joker can visit. Also, through “Persona Execution”, you can combine multiple Personas to create new personas. By combining several times, bonus values can be added to the newly-born Persona.

Spending the “Persona Points” which can be gained from battles and fusion can level up your personas, as well as strengthen parameters such as strength and magic. On the other hand, “Skill Cards” are items that allow a specific Persona to learn a skill.

A video footage that focuses on the City of Sapporo is also here, check it out below.

You can also check out the Velvet Room and Skill Cards focused video below.

All videos are in the Japanese Language ( Translated English information are from Gematsu! Thank you Gematsu)

Final Fantasy VII Remake

PlayStation 4™ – US, EU, AU & JAPAN

We’re still a few months away from the release of Square Enix‘s Final Fantasy VII Remake for the PlayStation 4. Yet the publisher is generous enough to share a bunch of new screenshots that reveal most of its key information. The new update highlights Sephiroth, the president of Shinra Electric Power Company and its members, Aerith's unique abilities in battle, the Shiva summon, the Train Graveyard, and the Shinra Building.

So, if you’ve been dying to learn more about the upcoming game, you can check them all out below, straight from Square Enix!

We have a couple of beautiful pieces of art to show you, focusing on two of the most beloved characters: Tifa and Sephiroth. Sephiroth is famed as the finest member of Shinra's elite SOLDIER unit. His gallant efforts in the war with Wutai made him a hero – and he's inspired many a brave youth to join SOLDIER. Sephiroth is believed to have died during a top secret mission, but there may be far more to the story than people know.

President Shinra – The current president of the Shinra Electric Power Company raised the company up from a small arms manufacturer to the massively powerful conglomerate it is today. He can be generous to his allies, but when it comes to business he's utterly ruthless. He's willing to use cutthroat business tactics to make a profit – and eliminate anyone who gets in the way.

Heidegger – As well as being the director of Public Security, Heidegger has been President Shinra's right-hand man since the early days of the company. He's just as ruthless as his boss, and will do anything to get what he wants – even sacrifice his own subordinates. He's trusted implicitly by the President, and this has made Public Security the most powerful department within Shinra.

Roche – This 3-C SOLDIER turned rebel is also known as Speed Demon. He loves bikes, speed and anyone who can give him a challenge. His comrades, however, find him annoying – he constantly squeals his rear tire and makes them choke on fumes of burnt rubber.

Aerith in battle – These next screenshots demonstrate how Aerith fights. A press of the square button will make her launch a ranged magic attack. By pressing square in repeatedly, or holding the button, successive attacks can be unleashed. In addition, the number of targets hit will increase, and attacks will cover a wider area. By pressing the Triangle button, Aerith will unleash her unique ability – Tempest. You can also charge the attack by holding the Triangle button – at maximum charge it will explode repeatedly after it hits an enemy.

Aerith – unique abilities – 'Soul Drain' lets Aerith absorb MP from a foe. As she specializes in magic attacks, using this skill will be a necessity in tough fights. Lustrous Shield' allows Aerith to summon a magical barrier, which will keep enemies at bay and block projectiles. What's more, any attackers who come into contact with the shield will take damage.

Shiva – a very cool Summon. Characters in FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE can use Summon Materia – orbs let them summon an intensely powerful ally into the fight. The Queen of Ice Shiva is one such Summon. This frosty figure gives an icy glare to enemies and a loving smile to allies. She skates around the battlefield, and manipulates the air to freeze enemies in the blink of an eye. Once summoned, Shiva will fight automatically, but you can also issue commands to make her use specific abilities. Heavenly Strike creates a giant glacier and smashes it down onto an opponent! Summons are governed by a special gauge – when it's empty they'll disappear… but just before they leave, they'll deliver an especially powerful move. In Shiva's case, it's Diamond Dust – a move fans of the original FINAL FANTASY VII may remember. Shiva encases enemies in ice and then shatters them in spectacular fashion

The Train Graveyard – FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE takes many locations from the original game, and redesigns and reinterprets them to add additional depth. The story is more detailed too, with more dialogue, story sequences and a greater portrayal of citizens' lives. The Train Graveyard is a perfect example of this. Originally used during the construction of Midgar, this area has since become a junkyard for old and abandoned trains. Strong winds make the rusting carriages creak and groan, and odd high-pitched sounds echo over the area. You may remember this location from the original FINAL FANTASY VII. In that game, there was no dialogue here, but in FINAL FANTASY VII REMAKE, characters will talk to each other as they explore the maze of wreckage. The new game also adds a new story into this area, with multiple event scenes.

The Shinra Building – Here's a look at another area of the game. The headquarters of the Shinra Electric Power Company is a 70-story skyscraper in the center of Midgar. Up on the upper levels you'll find the offices of President Shinra and the directors, and a Memorial Floor, where you can learn all about the history of Shinra. Alternatively, head to the Visual Entertainment Hall where you can see the latest technology being demonstrated. Of course, the first thing you'll see is the expansive entrance. Inside the building, you can take a look at some of the Shinra cars on display. Or to unwind, why not head up to the Relaxation Floor?

Thanks, Square Enix!

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy VII Remake will be released in multiple parts. During E3 2019, Final Fantasy VII Remake producer Yoshinori Kitase took the stage and discussed tidbits of information about the game. According to the producer, the massive content of the game, which is the first part, will be released on March 3, 2020, which will require two Blu-ray discs. However, the initial release of the game will still not cover the full Final Fantasy VII story.

Game Overview

For a brief overview, the upcoming game is a remake of the 1997 PlayStation title, Final Fantasy VII. The game follows the role of the mercenary Cloud Strife as he and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE battle against the wicked Shinra megacorporation and the rogue former Shinra soldier Sephiroth. The gameplay is planned to combine real-time action and turn-based elements just like with Dissidia Final Fantasy.

The remake will only include the part of the story in Midgar, but according to Kitase, it will be a "fully standalone gaming experience." The producer added, "At that point, we decided we're going to focus this game on Midgar and what happened in Midgar," Kitase said. "And unfortunately, we can't say anything more about future games after that, because we don't know ourselves, really."

More so, Kitase said that he and his team in Square Enix are still "fleshing out" what will be covered in the game’s next chapter.

Wattam for PS4 – Mayor, you warm our hearts!

Posted: 17 Dec 2019 09:29 PM PST

Wattam

PlayStation®4 Ι Genre: Flawless Toybox Game

Nah, na na na na nah na naah, Katamari Damacy!
If you're humming this verse; probably you know who Keita Takahashi is. Globally renowned as one of the most creative personalities in the game developing universe, he's not just an extremely talented creator of binary worlds, but also an all-around artist which has worked on several projects including the design for the new children playground area at Woodthorpe, Nottinghamshire.
His unconventional touch has started to be popular in 2004 when the first Katamari Damacy has been released for PS2; including tiny sushi dishes, big sumo wrestlers, and huge galaxies, this puzzle-action game has been praised by hundreds of thousands of people located to the four corners of the earth. Winning the prestigious “Excellence in Game Design” at the 2005 Game Developers Choice Awards, "Best Innovation” prize during the 2005 G-Phoria event, and included in the Guardian's "50 Best Video Games of the 21st Century" list; at the beginning, this game did not have an easy time in western countries, because it was considered too odd by the publishing companies.
It is only with the second episode We Love Katamari that the series started to gain the attention it deserved, and thanks to this the King of All Cosmos became a figurehead also among the earthlings providing an absolutely original gameplay system preciously enriched with the wonderful Superflat works of art on Takahashi-san. In total 13 Katamari Damacy installments have been released for consoles, PCs, and mobile devices, but the magical touch of its creator never stops, and finally, after six years since the announcement, Keita Takahashi's new project is available for PlayStation 4…its name is Wattam!

One day, while he was playing with his two years old son, when he was struck by a brilliant idea; what if all the toys are living beings strictly connected to each other? If would be true, this hidden world surely would be a wonderful place to discover…working day and night on this concept; Keita Takahashi started to develop a new kind of game in which is eclectic taste is even more visible.
This can be seen primarily from the title; in fact, Wattam is the union of two words: the Japanese term Wa (和) which means "harmony", and the Tamil term Vattam (வட்டம்) which means "circle".
Starring the green cube known as Mayor; this extremely colorful & carefree indie game sees him play around in the company of hundreds of cute living objects that vary from robust trees to soft beach balls passing through sushi, apples, flowers, and…poos!!!
Obviously, the Mayor needs your help to explore this wacky world far and wide; walk, talk, dance, climb, float & explode, in Wattam for PlayStation 4 nothing is as it seems.

Discover the true value of friendship and cooperation alone or with the people around you; all the characters you'll encounter are playable, so in certain moments you'll need to use the abilities of a certain individual to solve the puzzles that will stand before you. In here, you can unveil dozens of secrets that will make this parallel world even more enchanting; exploiting the concept that our ordinary life is great; Wattam for PS4 is the perfect combination of art, fun, and style if you're looking for something unique you shouldn't miss to play it. More than a simple game, this adventure is an actual digital-only shining indie gem that, for the very first time, brings a dose of irresistible Takahashi oddness on PlayStation 4.

Hooray! Keita Takahashi is back, better than ever with this 100% funtastic title; experience a wonderful example of insane uniqueness, Wattam for PS4 is ridiculously addictive, and its simplicity makes it a masterpiece that will be remembered for a very long time.
Enjoy this daydream that comes true!
