The well-known Japanese gaming company, Taito, has just announced a new cool mini-game system, perfect for retro gaming fans. Introducing, the Egret II Mini. Inspired by its original Egret II back in the ’90s. Taito will release this modernized iteration packed with a bunch of video games that you have come to love in the ’70s and the ’90s. Some of these titles are Space Invaders, Kaiser Knuckle, Bubble Bobble, Elevator Action, and more. You can watch the announcement video below. What to Expect? The system will come packed with 40 built-in titles with an addition of 10 more titles after release that can be purchased separately. What’s cool about this is it’s tailor-fit to every game that you’ll play because of its rotatable display. Yes, you read that right. Rotate your screen from landscape to portrait and vice versa depending on the title you play, giving you a more accurate gaming experience. Plus, the joystick can be switched from 8 to 4-direction to perfectly suit the gameplay of the title you’re playing. It will also feature an SD Slot, built-in HDMI support Taito also has other extras that will be sold separately, such as a Paddle & Trackball Expansion Set, Arcade Stick and Control Pad.
