Nioh 2 DLC – The First Samurai Out Now! Posted: 17 Dec 2020 10:45 PM PST Nioh 2 PlayStation 4 – US, EU, JAPAN & ASIA Publisher Koei Tecmo and developer Team Ninja have released the launch trailer for the third and last major add-on of Nioh 2. If you can still recall the game has previously released DLC 1 – The Tengu's Disciple and DLC 2 – Darkness in the Capital. This time the DLC is called “The First Samurai” which is scheduled to launch on December 17, 2020 and it is now available. Moreover, here is the overview of the DLC: Steel yourself for the ultimate challenge in the climactic final chapter of the Nioh 2 story. Take up arms and travel through time to the land of the fabled youth who defeated an oni. Here, Otakemaru's past, the secret of Sohayamaru and the truth behind the first samurai will all be revealed. The end of your hard-fought journey draws nigh. According to the Creative Director, Nioh 2 will receive three major DLC releases after its launch. Each of the three DLC packs will possess unique storylines and "promising hours of additional gameplay that will provide plenty of challenge for those thirsting for more."
