Hello, hello and welcome to this week's Merch Mart where we give you a roundup of all the merchandise currently on offer. From shirt to skirt, from Pacman to NieR, if it's available, you'll find it here! We have revamped the product list and now every item has one picture that links you to all available sizes. So we feature fewer pics which means less scrolling for you and a better overview. In addition, click on the category each banner to see all merch available from the series. Some items have a pre-order deadline of July 08, so please check the product page for details.

Due to time restraints, we can give you in this post only all newly added items. For an overview of all available items, pls click the yellow button at the bottom of the post!

If you have any questions about the Japanese sizes, please check the size chart of each item and compare it with your home country's size chart, for example here. Or measure a fitting shirt of yours like this and compare it with the dimensions displayed. As a rule of thumb: Asian sizes are one size smaller than their western counterparts. A Japanese size XL is roughly the equivalent to a European size L.

What to Expect?

According to the Japanese gaming magazine, the main story of the game will last for about 30-hours long. Take note, that 30 hours of gameplay is for the main story alone. Plus, the game also features side contents including character episodes and special costumes which means the gameplay will go over 30 hours. Well, get ready to kiss goodbye to plenty of hours of your life, folks.

For the first time in the series, Fairy Tail will feature game-unique stories that are never seen before in the original manga or anime such as requests related to characters. Choose among more than 10 playable characters and costumes.

After revealing an upcoming game, Pokemon Snap for Switch on last week’s Pokemon Presents. The Pokemon Company shared another good news for Pokemon fans during yesterday’s Pokemon Presents.

First, the Pokemon Cafe Mix, which was announced last week, is now out on Nintendo Switch, iOS, and Android. (Check it out, if you haven’t yet!)

Next and the highlight of the presentation is the upcoming strategic team battle game called Pokemon Unite. Alongside this, the Pokemon Company reveals that they will partner with Tencent Games' TiMi Studios for the said game.

What is Pokemon Unite?

Pokémon UNITE is a strategic team battle game being developed jointly by The Pokémon Company and Tencent Games’ TiMi Studios. Pokémon UNITE is planned as a cross-platform game for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices and will be free-to-start.

In this game, players face off against each other in 5-on-5 team battles. During battles, players will cooperate with teammates to catch wild Pokémon, level up and evolve their own Pokémon, and defeat opponents’ Pokémon while trying to earn more points than the opposing team within the allotted time.

Pokémon UNITE introduces a new kind of Pokémon battle—one that requires teamwork and strategy. It is simple and yet full of intricacies waiting to be unpacked. Be sure to check out the video on this page for the first footage of Pokémon UNITE’s gameplay. –Pokemon

Death end re;Quest 2 Western Release Date Announced

Mark your calendars, folks as the Western release of Death end re;Quest 2 is announced! During the New Game+ Expo live stream, game publisher Idea Factory International unveiled the release date of this JRPG. So, it’s coming on physically and digitally on August 25th in North America and on August 28th in Europe for the PlayStation 4 and PC.

For the PC version, it will support English, Japanese, and Chinese subtitles. Plus, it will also provide the original Glitch costumes for the first game’s character. However, these costumes will only appear in the battle.

With the announcement of the release date, Idea Factory International also dropped a new trailer and a new set of screenshots. Check it out below.

Game Overview

Death end re;Quest 2 focuses on the brand new heroines namely Mai Higayshima, Rotten Dollheart, and Lilliana Piata. They find themselves in a mysterious event wherein the students are disappearing. The setting will be similar to Southeastern Europe called Liz Shoala with a mix of occult horror. Death end re;Quest first game characters Shiina Ninomiya, Summer Life, and Lydia will appear some point of the game.

Collaboration with Ao Oni

Compile Heart also announced the collaboration of this game to the Ao Oni. What to look forward to this collaboration? Well, folks, you will experience the original Ao Oni in the world of Death end re;Quest 2.

If you are not familiar with Ao Oni, this is an RPG horror game developed by noprops. It’s all about a boy with his friends trapped inside a haunted mansion and a monster known as the Oni chases them. They must escape the haunted mansion to survive.
