I thought of retiring from the game industry and I created Final Fantasy as my final project. That's why the title includes the word 'final' but for me; the title 'Final Fantasy' reflects my emotional state at the time and the feeling that time had stopped. They say that technologically, it's good to keep going, and each time, we give it our all and expend our skills and energy until we can go no further; this is what I consider to be the 'final fantasy'. The words above come from Hironobu Sakaguchi; the creator of the Final Fantasy series and one of the most influential developers of all time. Born the “swan song" of Squaresoft in 1987, the first chapter of this popular long-life saga appeared on December 18 of that year for Famicom, the story was quite classical (a party of four youths known as the Light Warriors must defeat the evil forces of a dark lord – the archdemon Chaos – to restore light, and save the world), but its innovative gameplay mechanics and the huge world made it a true legend among the gamers, selling several million of copies, through the years this once niche JRPG became one of the most played one in the 80s and 90s.  A Tale of Origins and Endings!
Based on the hugely beloved table-RPG game Dungeons & Dragons; since the first episode, this series offered an alternative to the common swashbuckling stories adding charismatic characters (especially if we talk about enemies like Kefka, Sephiroth, Ardyn, or Caius), vast continents, epic quests, and much more. Game Overview Takayuki Yagami is back for another mission to solve a mystery about a gruesome murder. The famous Japanese actor Takuya Kimura is back as Yagami’s Japanese voice actor. According to him, the protagonist steps up to this game. For a brief background, Judgment is first released in Japan in 2019 for PlayStation 4. Now, the sequel is finally coming after 2 years of waiting. Here’s the game overview via Sega. Seize the truth. December 2021, Tokyo district court. Akihiro Ehara stands accused of groping a woman on a crowded train. A bystander's video footage of his attempt to flee the scene and subsequent apprehension is all over the news, and public outcry demands a maximum sentence. "Three days ago, a dead body was found in an abandoned building in Yokohama. Have you identified it yet?" he proclaims as confusion cuts through the courtroom. His defense lawyer, Saori Shirosaki, has no doubt that crucial details of the situation have been overlooked, as Ehara was not even tried for the murder. She contacts detective Takayuki Yagami to investigate this further. How could Ehara have committed two crimes at once? Was the sexual battery just a cover-up? Has Ehara gamed the entire justice system? As victims surface and Yagami digs farther into the truth, he is faced with a question: Defend the law, or enact justice? Game Overview Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is an upcoming action RPG from Monolith Soft. This is the fourth entry to the critically acclaimed action RPG series, Xenoblade Chronicles. This game features a new story with a new cast set in the worlds of Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Here’s the game description below via Nintendo. A vast world awaits in Xenoblade Chronicles 3, the next game in the acclaimed RPG series from developer MONOLITHSOFT. Players will step into the roles of protagonists Noah and Mio amid turmoil between the hostile nations of Keves and Agnus. Six characters hailing from those nations will take part in a grand tale with "life" as its central theme. Explore a new world that will connect the futures of both Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenoblade Chronicles 2. Tetsuya Takahashi, the executive director of this game, gave a message. Check out the message below. Hi everyone, this is Tetsuya Takahashi from Monolith Soft. Just over four years since the release of Xenoblade Chronicles 2 and one and a half years since the release of Xenoblade Chronicles: Definitive Edition, we now bring to you news regarding the latest game from Monolith Soft: Xenoblade Chronicles 3. As the name indicates, it's the third installment in the Xenoblade Chronicles series. We are currently making final adjustments to ensure we create the best game possible based on everything we've learned from the past entries in the series. The key visual features a broken great sword of Mechonis and the body of the Urayan Titan with a gaping wound. I imagine everyone who saw the trailer was quite surprised by the final scene. What is this visual hinting at? I can't reveal that just yet. What I can tell you is that this visual was conceived quite some time ago. More precisely speaking, we came up with it sometime between the end of development of Xenoblade Chronicles and the beginning of development of Xenoblade Chronicles 2. So, it's not something we recently added to the series. We believe the game will be enjoyable for both those who've played Xenoblade Chronicles or Xenoblade Chronicles 2, as well as those who will be playing a Xenoblade Chronicles game for the first time. The characters were designed by Masatsugu Saito, who also designed the characters for Xenoblade Chronicles 2. While we can't reveal them at this time, Koichi Mugitani created some of the game's key artwork. As you can see, familiar staff members with the Xenoblade Chronicles series have once again come together to create this game. The game music was also handled by artists who've contributed to the series in the past. The music for Xenoblade Chronicles 3 was composed by Yasunori Mitsuda, Manami Kiyota, ACE (TOMOri Kudo, CHiCO), Kenji Hiramatsu and Mariam Abounnasr. The music in this game maintains the unique Xenoblade Chronicles touch while also taking on a new challenge, namely that of integrating a flute-based melody as its motif. The flute is actually one of the key themes in this game. A variety of other elements and themes are hidden in the trailer and we'll be revealing the details a bit at a time going forward. Xenoblade Chronicles 3 is a new Gematsu!
