Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy PS4 & SW – US, JP & ASIA Koei Tecmo has announced that the physical release for PS5 of Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy in Japan is no longer happening. In line with these, the company shared that the cancellation are due to “various reasons”. Though there are no specific reasons mentioned. You can check the official statement here in Japanese language. Despite the physical release cancellation, the digital version for PS5 will be available as a free upgrade through PS4 version or as a standalone digital purchase via PlayStation Store. In addition, in the West the PS5 version will be available digitally, no physical release as announced from the very start! In case you missed it… Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & the Secret Fairy is a direct sequel to last year’s fan-favorite, Atelier Ryza: Ever Darkness & the Secret Hideout. Reisalin “Ryza” Stout is last year’s protagonist that everyone loved and will be the same hero in the upcoming game. After three years, Ryza and her friends will be reunited again and will embark on a new adventure set in the Royal Capital of Ashra-am Baird. Furthermore, Gust revealed returning character Klaudia Valentz together with a new mystery creature called Fi that will serve as Ryza’s new companion.
