Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 3
Nintendo Switch Ι Genre: Espionage Visual Adventure
It's a truth, in the wonderful universe of video games you can be whoever you want to be; medieval warriors, heroic plumbers, extremely fast hedgehogs, mech pilots, and also secret agents!
The first game starring a spy was Shaken but Not Stirred; released in 1982 exclusively for the ZX Spectrum computer, it was a great adventure in which the player impersonated the one and only James Bond (a.k.a. 007).
Filled with twists and turns, mind-bending puzzles to solve, and a lot of other features that made this game a realistic 007 adventure that kept the authentic feel of Ian Fleming's novels intact. Due to its success; Shaken but not Stirred started a new genre that allowed us to live thrilling adventures throughout the world… the Spy Games!
Exploiting espionage mechanics as never before; among the genre, there are real masterpieces of the industry. Just to name a few, we bet that everyone knows titles like Metal Gear, Deus Ex, Dishonored, or the Nintendo 64 classic's Goldeneye 007.
But, from the Land of the Rising Sun, Prototype developed a unique series who mixes in such great way spy game mechanics with visual novel elements; maybe you already know it, maybe not… in any case, we’re talking of Grisaia: Phantom Trigger!
Good Morning, Angels.
All is started with Grisaia no Kajitsu: Le Fruit De La Grisaia; released in 2011 for PC, PSP, and two years later for PlayStation Vita. Starring Yūji Kazami, a cold, minimalistic, and philosophical boy who attends the second-year class at Mihama Academy; in this wonderfully written visual novel adventure he finds himself embroiled in mysterious circumstances who reveal the school for what it really is… a sort of prison for young people! With the help of his schoolmates; Yūji must discover the secrets that allow the existence of this re-educational institute.
Hailed as a true masterpiece, gamers asked for more; so, dozens of new episodes who expanded the Grisaia universe to initially unbelievable levels have appeared through the years. While the firsts two chapters have been released last month on Nintendo Switch; you will be happy to know that from today you can continue the adventures of SORD agency with Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 3!!!
OK, let’s find the bad guys!
Set soon after the events occurred in the second chapter; to celebrate the good accomplishment of their very first field mission almost all the SORD agents are enjoying their well-deserved holiday. But as hundreds of novels, movies, and video games teach, there is no rest for true heroes; in fact, even if Chris, Tohka, Murasaki, and Haruto are relaxing abroad, they are chased by the mysterious Mihama gang who, with the help of the two St. Aile’s International School's students Sylvia & Velvet, aim to destroy the agency eliminating its members one by one.
Offering a new unforgettable story, a cast of legendary spies, and the traditionally eye-popping anime-style graphics; Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 3 for Nintendo Switch, is something you should try even if you’re not a fan of the visual novel genre.
This third episode leads you to acquire new skills, that can be useful if you want to start a career in the spying profession; strengthen the bonds with your colleagues, think carefully to the words to say, and face your enemies, after all, there’s nowhere to run.
Enjoy the holiday of your life with Grisaia: Phantom Trigger Vol. 3 for Nintendo Switch; the SORD's fate rests in your hands, and only you can defuse the mad Mihama gang plot.
Now go ahead and be ready to live on the edge with this superb digital-only visual novel for Nintendo Switch in Japanese, English, and Chinese!

Thanks to gamestalk.net and Ryokutya2089 for sharing the information and Twitter user @aitaikimochi for giving a good translation of the news. Feel free to have a look below.
Interesting bits from a 15 page interview on FF7R that's released in tomorrow's Famitsu:
-The next installment is already in full development
-They couldn't go further with the Madam M massage scene otherwise ratings would go up

WHERE TO BUY?
Don’t miss one of the critically acclaimed video games of 2020! If you still haven’t owned a copy of Final Fantasy VII Remake yet, you’re in luck. The game’s retail release is still available here in our store. We ship globally. You know the drill.
Game Overview
A remake of the 1997 PlayStation title, Final Fantasy VII. The game follows the role of the mercenary Cloud Strife as he and eco-terrorist group AVALANCHE battle against the wicked Shinra megacorporation and the rogue former Shinra soldier Sephiroth. The gameplay combines both real-time action and turn-based elements just like with Dissidia Final Fantasy.
The remake only includes the part of the story in Midgar, but according to Kitase, it’s a "fully standalone gaming experience." The producer added, "At that point, we decided we're going to focus this game on Midgar and what happened in Midgar," Kitase said. "And unfortunately, we can't say anything more about future games after that, because we don't know ourselves, really."
More so, Kitase said that he and his team in Square Enix are still "fleshing out" what will be covered in the game’s next chapter.
