Let’s prepare for the update! Hunters, get your gears up with the upcoming expansion of Monster Hunter World: Iceborne tomorrow! Version 11.5 update will be in 400 MB for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.

Main Additions / Changes
- Point allocation for the Free Meal skill on the Rex Roar Helm β+ has been changed from 2 to 1.
- Decoration list order has been updated in accordance with their skills. This change affects the following locations:
- Item Box > Sell Items > Decorations tab
- Item Box > Set Decorations > Current Equipment/Equipment Box
- Fixed an issue where supply items would not be returned when calling a loadout that contained empty spaces. (Supply items that exceed the space limit will be discarded.)
- For some pages in the monster field guide, rare carved materials are now listed according to priority. (The materials and chances of obtaining them have not changed.)

- Fixed an issue where info for the volcanic region of the Guiding Lands would not display when the world map was opened inside the base.
- Fixed an issue where the Affinity Sliding skill would activate while inside the hot spring found in Seliana's Gathering Hub.
- Fixed an issue where the Felynes helping in the Steamworks would jump with improper timing.
- Fixed an issue where you couldn't enter your room in Seliana.

- Fixed an issue where special tracks would not drop from Scarred Yian Garuga in the Guiding Lands.
- Fixed an issue where if the quest poster paralyzes or stuns a monster, and then abandons the quest, and other hunters built up mount attack damage, if the quest info screen is opened the moment the monster exits its binded status, the monster would enter a mounted status and would be incapacitated.
- Fixed an issue with Barioth's landing point when the monster would jump off from a wall.
- Fixed an issue where the quest would not be complete if the Dragonrazer hits Velkhana while it's in the air.
- Fixed an issue where Velkhana would not move its gaze/body to the player's direction.
- Fixed an issue where Fulgurbugs could be obtained from Zinogre in Arena quests.
- Adjusted invasion rates for Savage Deviljho in quests that it has a chance of appearing in.
- Fixed an issue where players in base camps would be hit by Lunastra's hellflare attack.
- Fixed an issue where Azure Rathalos would get stuck on the outer edges of pathways when in the Ancient Forest.
- Fixed an issue where, under specific conditions, Kushala Daora's head could not be broken.

- Fixed an issue where, when the Gunlance doesn't have Wyrmstake Shot loaded, a Jumping Reload Smash wouldn't be performed when using a Lunging Upthrust to scale a wall.
- Fixed an issue where weapons would display unnaturally when attempting to attack after a Temporal Mantle evade, after performing the Charge Blade's Amped Element Discharge.
- The clutch claw can now perform claw attacks after grappling onto a monster while mounted.
- Fixed an issue where the hitbox for the clutch claw's Wyvernheart would disappear if the player sank into the ground while grappled onto a monster. It has been fixed so now it has an attack hitbox.
- Grapple point priority have been adjusted, so it's easier to grapple onto the locations that the clutch claw hits.
- Fixed an issue where players sliding due to Velkhana's frost would only happen on the host's side. It will now occur on the guest side as well.
- Fixed an issue where the hunting horn couldn't perform melodies directly stocked from echo attacks.
- Fixed an issue where while using the hammer, a hunter would perform a flinch shot immediately after grappling onto a monster, regardless if the player could control the hunter.
- Fixed an issue that caused irregular behavior when the heavy bowgun's special scope was used while the Mind's Eye/Ballistics skill was equipped.
- Fixed an issue where decoration info would remain when overwriting an equipment loadout with a decoration-equipped mantle with a loadout with no mantle.
- Fixed an issue where decorations would be removed from a mantle when calling up a registered loadout, even though the mantle has decorations equipped.
- Fixed an issue where the hunter would perform an animation inappropriate to the item obtained when mining from mining outcroppings.
- Fixed an issue where the Tailraider Signal's position wouldn't be saved when calling up an item loadout.

Miscellaneous
- Fixed an issue where a Palico's weapon would activate with positive affinity, despite the weapon itself having negative affinity.
- Fixed an issue where "Returning to Base" would be displayed when traveling to the Hoarfrost Reach via the World Map, while on an expedition.
- Fixed an issue where players could not talk to the Lynian Researcher under specific conditions, thus not being able to obtain the Surveyor Set.
- Fixed an issue where only the regular size of certain fish could be caught.
- Fixed an issue where certain endemic life would not have their size fluctuation behave properly.
- Fixed an issue where the appearance rate of Molys would greatly increase when the Felyne Zoomaster skill was activated.
- Fixed an issue where switching active squads to a squad with a player who deleted their account would fail.
- Adjusted the quest complete time limits for the event quest "Farewell to the Frozen".
- Fixed an issue where quest members would disconnect from quests located in the Elder's Recess.
- Fixed an issue that occurred in the Guiding Lands where, while fighting a monster that has been lured out, if another monster that was originally in the locale appears, the focus camera or target camera would suddenly change targets.
- Other minute game balance tweaks and minor bugs fixes have been made.

Corrections

For the following event quests, adjustments were made but no notice was given to players.
- 1. A New Troublemaker in Town – Rewards were adjusted downwards as of Ver. 11.01. (PS4) / Ver. 11.0.0.1 (Xbox One).
- 2. Challenge Quest 2: MR Intermediate – Monster difficulty was decreased, and completion times were adjusted. Loadout 5 (Heavy Bowgun) contained two Destroyer Jewel 2, and had to be updated.

The quests are performing as expected so there are no issues, but we apologize for not letting players know about the updates beforehand.

Leon, Claire, and Tyrant from Resident Evil 2 will visit the Monster Hunter World: Iceborne as part of the collaboration tomorrow as well. So, stay tuned! Plus, for the PS4 players out there, the Horizon Zero Dawn collaboration will begin on November 21st.

Upcoming Action RPG Elden Ring From Bandai Namco Is Now Available For Pre-order Here At Playasia!

- It is an upcoming action RPG. A collaboration between game director Hidetaka Miyakazi and novelist George R. R. Martin, the man behind the epic fantasy novel series, A Song of Ice and Fire or mostly known as HBO’s Game of Thrones.
- Elden Ring was first announced via trailer last June in E3.
- The game is bound to release in the 4th quarter of 2020. Pre-order is now available here at Playasia.
PRE-ORDER NOW!Elden Ring is one of the most anticipated games for 2020. The game was first announced during E3 2019 by game publisher Bandai Namco and FromSoftware, the game’s developer. It was also revealed that this upcoming action RPG will be a collaborative masterpiece from the highly-acclaimed game director and creator of Souls series, Hidetaka Miyazaki, and novelist George R. R. Martin. He is the author of The New York Times best-selling epic fantasy novel A Song of Ice and Fire series, which was adapted into HBO’s Game of Thrones.
This upcoming third-person action RPG is said to be themed around dark fantasy. The game will allow players to create their own custom characters instead of playing as a fixed protagonist. It will also feature an open world with new gameplay mechanics such as horseback riding and combat. But unlike other open-world games, Elden Ring will not feature populated towns with many non-playable characters, with the world having numerous dungeon-like ruins in place of them instead.

- Neutral Special: After Kafrizz hits a fighter or the stage and explodes, Gravitational Pull or Pocket will have no effect on the explosion.

Loved or hated, Hideo Kojima is an actual superstar!
Starting his career in 1986 his first project was a Penguin Adventure for MSX, a game in which the well known Pentarou (who was also a playable character in Parodius series) must run as faster as he can to find the Golden Apple; the only cure for his sick beloved one.
Including a variety of different stages & enemies; this title was one of the firsts who offered multiple endings to the gamers. Even if not properly a masterpiece; since this first game, the golden touch of Kojima-san was palpable. But as everyone knows, still nowadays his name is strictly connected with a specific series that raised him to the Olympus of the developers; obviously, we're talking of Metal Gear.
Composed by 21 chapters, Metal Gear has revolutionized an entire industry; since its original release on July 13, 1987, this action-adventure stealth mixed perfectly a magnificent story with great gameplay making it one of the best video games ever released (making also the fortune of Konami).
Ça va sans dire, that through the years Kojima-san has enriched his creature with more mature situations, and philosophical concept, and, without fearing to be denied, he doesn't only gave us beautiful games to play, but also expresses his anxiety towards a humanity that slowly but inexorably heading straight to the abyss that have created itself with wars, greed, treachery, and power play.
Like David Cronenberg and Shinya Tsukamoto; even Hideo Kojima evoked dramatic images in which are present different avant-garde and experimental concepts and art styles.
For example, if you play with Snatcher, a truly interactive cyberpunk masterpiece; you can feel all the uncertainty for a future in which machines are prominent in human society. Undermining the Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics, in this game we experience how the empowered androids demand a place in society as sentient living beings as such. Inspired by the novels written by William Gibson, Philip K. Dick, and Bruce Sterling; Snatcher is globally considered the best digital cyberpunk adventure of all time.
But stop talking about the past! Finally, Kojima-san has returned with his most personal project, his Magnus Opus, a title that transcends the concept of gaming itself…call it meta-game, call it gaming 3.0 or call it simply with its name: Death Stranding!
Set in a future Earth where humankind has been decimated; Kojima-san grabbed all the apocalyptic sci-fi topos, and bent them to his will creating something never seen before. It is not a mere coincidence if this masterwork has been released 30 years after the fall of the Berlin Wall. In fact, to survive in this wasteland, people have built not only physical walls that protect them from the attacks of the savage beings out there but also moral walls which cannot allow the communication among people. These ones are probably more dangerous than any other attack from external creatures because without communication our civilization is destined to disappear.
The protagonist Sam Bridges is to become a real "bridge" among the few surviving people connecting their feelings, their thoughts, and even their souls between them to destroy the Walls who can't allow the sharing of experiences which are essential for the progress of civilization, whatever it may be. Wandering in an almost deserted planet, Death Stranding for PS4 present the present in a negative light; indeed is our fault if the future world is ruined, but there's still a ray of light…despite all the incredible technology at his disposal, Sam must rely on the most ancient skill to save his species; human motion!
Probably the most experimental title of the current generation; Death Stranding for PlayStation 4 is a true cyberpunk opus in which the combination of man and metal is intentionally exasperated into a mature opus (call it only a game is reductive) which is inevitably beautiful for some aspects, and miserable for some others. Surely you've read a lot of reviews, specials, and news about Death Stranding for PS4; but never as much as in this case the personal experience is essential to make your own opinion.
