Physical collectors, it’s time to celebrate as Merge Games will bring the retail version of Morbid: The Seven Acolytes for the PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch. As of now, there’s no official release date announced. So, please wait for it, folks! Along with Standard Edition, Merge Games will also release the Signature Edition. This special edition includes Signature Edition Box, the physical game, a concept art card, two blessing pins, and a CD soundtrack. However, this Signature Edition is not yet available here at Playasia. Game Overview If you love horror and gore games, Morbid: The Seven Acolytes is for you. This horror-punk action RPG takes you on a whole new adventure. Here’s the official game description below via Steam. You are the last surviving Striver of Dibrom. Your duty, for which you have trained your whole life, is to defeat the Seven Acolytes, accursed and powerful beings, possessed by malevolent deities called Gahars. The Gahars have bound their twisted minds to the flesh of the Seven Acolytes, for without hosts they cannot survive. You must slay the Acolytes, thus ridding the Gahars of their flesh. Succeed, and you’ll free the kingdom from the heavy yoke of their terror. Fail, and the malicious gods rule on, as the Acolytes rise anew, and madness prevails. Challenging foes, mini-bosses, and memorable large-scale boss fights with fully orchestrated music are central features of the game.
